What movie have you been most anticipating to see this summer?

“I have really been wanting to see ‘The Lion King,’ but I haven’t made my way down to the movies to watch it. Growing up, (the original cartoon) was a movie that I watched often with my family, so I think that it would be cool to see it with its new, more live look.”

— Hannah Walter, incoming senior, Selah High School

“I am most excited to go see ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ because it continues after the events of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and I want to see what comes next. I also just really enjoy Marvel movies.”

— Andrew Boucher, incoming sophomore, Eisenhower High School

“I had been looking forward to seeing ‘Toy Story 4’ ever since I saw it was coming to theaters. I am a diehard Disney/Pixar fan, so I loved every part of the movie. I don’t think there’s an age limit to a film like this. I left the theater very happy and feeling like a little kid in Disneyland!”

— Caitlyn Belton, incoming senior, Zillah High School

“I’m looking forward to watching ‘Scary Stories to Read in the Dark’ because it was a book that my sister and I used to read when we were little.”

— Kylie Topper, incoming junior, Selah High School

“I am most excited to see ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home.’ I saw the first film of the franchise not knowing what to expect. By the end of the film I couldn’t wait for the next one.”

— Naya Trimble, incoming senior, Davis High School

“I’m going to have to say ‘The Lion King’ because it was my favorite movie as a kid and I get to enjoy it again before I’m a legal adult!”
