The Yakima Herald-Republic has created an essential news team as part of its mission to serve the Yakima Valley community, and the work from this team will always be free. The initiative is funded by the Yakima Free Press Campaign, a collaboration of the Yakima Valley Community Foundation, Microsoft and the Herald-Republic.
