KICKOFF 2019 - SCAC
When asking for the favorite in the SCAC West this upcoming season, Granger coach Gary Ely put it as succinctly as possible when he said, “Until someone knocks off Zillah, it’s Zillah.”
Hard to argue considering the Leopards are coming off a seventh straight undefeated league campaign and they return a bevy of talented players capable of extending that streak.
Yet this fall, there appears to be an opportunity for a breakthrough by an experienced La Salle team that nearly ended the Leopards’ reign last season.

KICKOFF 2019 - CWAC
Tradition could be tough to upend in the CWAC this season with two familiar teams rising back to the top.
Prosser and Ellensburg returned to their usual positions, splitting a pair of matchups and earning the league’s two state berths. The Mustangs and Bulldogs bring back enough talent this fall to establish themselves as favorites, although Prosser coach Corey Ingvalson won’t be taking anything for granted.
“Teams step up and players rise up that maybe no one thought (would),” Ingvalson said. “I really don’t know.”
