GRANDVIEW — Experience won out in a big way when Wapato traveled to Grandview Friday night.

The Greyhounds' returners provided most of the scoring in a 65-39 win over the newcomer-laden Wolves, breaking the game open with a 23-point third quarter. Nicholas Gutierrez paced Grandview with 16, while Nate Garza added 15 and another returner, Angel Cuevas, totaled 12.

Junior Matthew Zecchino scored 13 points for Wapato, which will host Prosser on Saturday. New point guard Noe Medina finished with eight points, six steals and four assists for Grandview, which will travel to Pullman for a nonleague matchup Saturday.
