COWICHE — After conceding an early goal, Highland found the perfect response in a key early SCAC West matchup.

As she so often does, Grace Terrill opened the scoring in the sixth minute. But Jackie Naranjo answered in the next minute and Denise Pimentel’s first goal of the season just before halftime gave the Scotties a 2-1 win.

Carolina Arceo made four saves to preserve Highland’s second win in three SCAC West matches heading into a trip to Granger next Tuesday. Cle Elum will host Goldendale on Saturday.
