CLE ELUM, Wash. — Even since her freshman year, Cle Elum forward Grace Terrill has shown a knack for scoring goals.

Another hat trick at home Sunday not only helped the Warriors pick up a key 4-0 win over Highland, it also moved Terrill into a tie on the Yakima Valley's all-time goals list. The Eastern Washington commit increased her career total to 151, including 38 this year, to match the record set by Prosser's Helen Peterson in 2011.

Terrill opened the scoring in the 25th minute off an assist from Grace Jackson, and the same connection struck again six minutes later. The last two goals came within 90 seconds of each other, when Terrill followed up her third goal with an assist to Jackson.

She'll look to break the record on Thursday, when Cle Elum travels to Naches Valley. The Warriors lost to Highland 2-1 earlier this season and Tuesday's win gave them sole possession of second place, although they still must play a second game against unbeaten La Salle, which has already beaten the Scotties twice.

First half: 1, Cle Elum, Grace Terrill (Grace Jackson), 25:00; 2, Cle Elum, Terrill (Jackson), 31:00.

Second half: 3, Cle Elum, Terrill (Ella Bridenback), 61:00; 4, Cle Elum, Jackson (Terrill), 63:00.
