WAPATO — Kaleb Thorson's tip-in with 1.2 seconds remaining in overtime lifted East Valley to a 74-72 victory over Selah in CWAC boys basketball on Saturday.

Thorson finished with 18 points and eight rebounds and teammate Marckos Carrillo contributed 17 points and six assists for the Red Devils, who fell to Selah in their first meeting 58-49.

Noah Pepper, whose coast-to-coast layup at the buzzer forced overtime, led Selah with 26 points and 13 rebounds. Teegan Garza hit five 3-pointers and added a season-high 21 points.
