YAKIMA, Wash. — Opening the 2020 season at home, the Yakima Valley Pippins will begin their season with a three-game series against four-time defending West Coast League champion Corvallis.

The series (and season) begins on Friday, June 5 at Yakima County Stadium.

That will be part of a 30-game home schedule that includes 27 games against WCL opponents.

Besides Corvallis, Yakima Valley will host Ridgefield, Cowlitz and Walla Walla from the South Division, and have home-and-home series against all five North Division opponents — Bellingham, Kelowna, Port Angeles, Victoria and Wenatchee.

The Pippins close out their home season against Port Angeles on Aug. 4-6.

The regular season ends on Aug. 9.

Home games Monday through Saturday begin at 6:35 p.m., except for special events such as fireworks, and Sunday games begin at 6:05 p.m.
