Trump G20 US Russia

FILE — President Donald Trump, right, shakes hands with Russian President Vladimir Putin during a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the G-20 summit in Osaka, Japan, Friday, June 28, 2019.

To the editor — Facts: Russia waged massive interference into our elections; the Mueller team indicted or obtained guilty pleas from 34 people, including 26 Russian nationals; there were over 101 communications between the Trump campaign and Russians; everyone involved lied and no patriot reported Russian malfeasance. From the Mueller Report: “Those lies materially impaired the investigation of Russian interference.” The report presents several credible cases for obstruction of justice; over 1,000 former federal prosecutors signed a bipartisan statement maintaining the report has “more than enough evidence to indict President Trump.”

Nowhere in the Mueller report does it say “no collusion” or declare “exoneration.”

Candidate Trump lied to Americans about ongoing business negotiations for the Moscow Trump Tower; Manafort handed over U.S. polling data; Don Jr. met with Russians for campaign dirt; Kushner attempted to create a Kremlin back channel. All easy kompromat dangerous to our national security.

Irrefutable Russian interference, yet no direction from Trump to safeguard our elections. Instead he is strangely obsequious to Putin, claiming there is “nothing wrong” with accepting campaign help from foreign sources even though the information comes from a murderous dictator who works to sabotage our power grid, nuclear and water plants, democracy and comity.
