To the editor — Hold that impeachment!

I don’t think the Republicans have had it so good for the last three years. They actually have the ear of the president for the first time! I saw a strange thing during that White House briefing when the senators were meeting with the president about impeachment strategy and he turned to them and said, “I’ll do whatever you guys want me to!” Now any coalition of 20 Republican senators can get concessions out of Trump whenever they want with their own quid pro quo! Straighten up and fly right or we will cut a deal with the Democrats and you are gone! This is a once-in-a-political-career opportunity.

Wow, that is some rebalancing of the executive and congressional power sharing. I think Pelosi is on the right track with retarding the impeachment process. Maybe for the first time there is a ring in the nose of that bull in the china closet.
