Michael Gleich was born August 12, 1948 in Pasco, Washington to Floyd and Pat Gleich. He passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2019. He grew up in Kennewick, Washington, where he graduated in 1966. He attended Central Washington University and graduated with a teaching degree. He moved to Yakima in 1971 and began his teaching career at Broadway Elementary where he retired after 30 years at Ridgeview Elementary. He continued as a substitute until his death.

Michael loved to vacation and spent most summer weekends at Potholes Reservoir boating. Winter trips included Lake Havasu and many family trips to Maui.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Connie, his children, Darin (Michelle), Brad (Annie) and Cari (Larry), his grandchildren, Brenna, Brodie and Douglas. He is also survived by his brother, Chuck (Kathy), and twin sister, Meri (Arne) Carson. He was preceded in death by his parents.
