Melissa Meyer, 42, was born in Yakima, WA on April 11, 1977 to Larry Meyer and Darlene Ricard Meyer passed away December 28, 2019 in Yakima, WA.

Missy attended school in Zillah and graduated from Pace School in Toppenish. She was a loving, caring person with a heart of gold and a big smile. Missy loved spending time with family and friends. She also loved sending out cards and made sure they arrived in time for birthdays and holidays. Although Missy suffered from learning disabilities, she had a very good outlook on life. After being diagnosed with muscular dystrophy she was even more determined to enjoy life and enjoy and live each day to the fullest.

Missy is survived by her mother, Dolly Meyer and Willy, brother, Brian Marshall, Hope, and Xavier; sisters: Penny Duong and Candy Molinari; uncles: Fred (Helen) Ricard, Ed (Jane) Ricard, Ted (Linda) Ricard, Lou (Linda) Ricard; aunts: Rose Haynes and Pat Ricard; fiancé, Chris Januscheitis and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Meyer, grandparents, uncle Larry Ricard and brother Ricky Marshall. Inurnment will be at a later date at Zillah Cemetery. Celebration of Life will be January 19, 2020 at the Zillah Civic Center (119 1st Avenue, Zillah, WA) from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Brookside Funeral Home is caring for the family.
