Ken was born in Yakima, Washington to Charlie and Charlotte Cook. After marrying his high school sweetheart Pam Walkenhauer, they travelled to Texas where Ken served in the Air Force for eight years. They moved to Gresham in 1978 where Ken flew for the Oregon Air National Guard. He also worked for the Port of Portland as Operations Manager and later Fire Department Manager. Ken loved spending time with family, fishing, and serving others for the Lord. Ken was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven after a 12 year battle with Parkinson’s. His loving memory is carried forward by his wife Pam, sons Sean and Nick, daughter Andrea (Vandeberghe), and eight grandkids.
Please join us for a celebration of his life at Good Shepherd Community Church (Boring, OR) on December 11th at 3:30 PM.
