Mr. Johnny Davis, 77, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 8, 2019 in Yakima. He was born on November 24, 1941 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the youngest son of Deward and Gladys (Dorsey) Davis. The family moved to Washington in 1944 where he was raised and educated, graduating from West Valley High School. He was a mechanic for many years at Massey Ferguson, and operated JD’s Drywall, creating many new designs in the field. He was a lover of flowers, and even had his own greenhouse, which he cherished. He was an avid fisherman. In 1962 he married Diane Chambers and had 3 children, Jim Davis (56), Kimberly (Jeff) Riddle-Jones (54), and Richie Davis (50); also a step daughter, Christy Haley (49). He had 6 grandchildren, Melanie Moulton (28), Courtney Riddle (28), Amanda Davis (27), Steven Haley (28), Morgan Haley (26) and Miranda Sanchez (24), and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 1 sister, Loretta Boen, Kathy Haley, and his parents.
