Francis “’Bud” Keagle, 83, peacefully passed away at his home on Monday, January 6th, 2020.

Bud was an angel to us all. He was born on June 4th, 1936 in Sioux City, Iowa and spent most of his adult life in Yakima, Washington with the love of his life, Doris Keagle, whom he married on May 13th, 1961 at the hitching post in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. They had seven children together.

In his early years, he played baseball, basketball and horse polo. Bud loved to go fishing, camping, carpentry and spending time with his family and friends. He loved telling stories to his grandkids and great-grandkids. He was a member of 09 Laborers Local Union 348 for 55 years. During that time, he improved the history of the Yakima Valley by working on numerous places like the Capital Theatre, Fire Station #1 and #5, the Yakima Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant, the Naches River Bridge and the Conrad Meadows Bridge.

He is preceded in death by his wife Doris Keagle and his sons Lee and Gary Hoover; his parents Joseph Keagle and Katherine Pollack; his sister Barbara Keagle and his brother Marvin “Chuck” Keagle.

He is survived by his daughters Nita (Mike) Ferreira, Vickie Luther, Cheryl (Ray) Stanfill, and Shirley (Horace) Wrather, and a son, Donald (Marta) Keagle, seventeen grandkids and countless great-grandkids, and his two sisters, Sharon Braley and Judy (Mike) Bennett.

His Memorial Service is Saturday, January 18th, 2020 at Rainier Memorial Center in Terrace Heights at 10:00 am.
