Denny Lane Senters of Yakima, WA went to heaven on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Cottage in the Meadow. He was born on their farm in Jamestown, KS to Orville And Nellie Senters. He was born one of five siblings, three brothers and one sister.

Denny attended R3 one room country school and graduated from Clifton High in Clifton, KS. He and his wife, Sheryl Skipton Senters, and daughter Terri moved to Yakima in 1965. He worked for Glascam Builders before starting his own business building custom homes in Yakima and Seattle. He also worked for Cates and Erb Construction in Omak, WA as project manager for several years.

Denny loved boating, crabbing, riding his three wheeler and his motorcycle, and socializing with his many dear friends whom he considered his brothers. In his younger years he enjoyed snowmobiling and hunting.

In September of this year, Denny and Sheryl celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary.

Denny is survived by his wife Sheryl; daughter Terri Caldwell and her sons Trenten and Chance, daughter Sunny Rowland her husband Rich and their daughter Celest, daughter Angie Giussi her son Evan Wolff and his wife Shiann and their sons Asher and Beau as well as her son Nathan Matthew and daughter Morgan Matthews; brother Garry Snters and wife Dixie, sister Phoebe Cyr, his brothers in law Terry Skipton and Perry Skipton and his wife Terri and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Charles, his wife Pat, brother Lowell, brother in law Wayne Cyr, sister in law Kathe Skipton, son in law Brian Caldwell, parents in law Sherman and Esther Skipton and his precious nephew Elias Ocanas Skipton.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Brookside Funeral Home (500 W. Prospect Place, Moxee, WA). In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Cottage in the Meadow, in care of Brookside Funeral Home, PO Box 1267, Moxee, WA 98936.
