Bruce W. Harris, 65, of Yakima, died February 4, 2017 in Yakima. He was born January 9, 1952, in Washington D.C. He was the son of James M. Harris and Glenna V. Harris. He is survived by his wife: Pamela Harris; an older sister: Linda (Jim) Dyjak; daughter: Sheila Harris; son: Tom (Stacey) Harris; step-daughter: Stacey (Robert) Wilson; and a life-long best friend: Gary Pace; also surviving Bruce are 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He graduated from Othello High School in 1971, after graduation Bruce served in the US Navy, Vietnam in 1971. When he came home from overseas, he and several friends started a country and rock & roll band, and played at various venues throughout Montana and Idaho. In his retirement years, he enjoyed shopping off the internet (especially E-bay) and watching YouTube videos. In honor of his Navy service, burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, at a later date, yet to be determined.
