MABTON, Wash. – A 61-year-old Grandview man was killed when his semi truck rolled near Mabton Tuesday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Jessie S. Adame was driving a 2000 Volvo semi pulling a trailer north in the 2000 block of Glade Road, about six miles south of Mabton, around 7 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve, according to a State Patrol news release.

The truck rolled over and Adame, who troopers said was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the Volvo and died at the scene.

The accident is under investigation.
