NAMI Yakima, an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, will have a family and friends seminar on Saturday, July 20.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Comprehensive Healthcare auditorium, 402 S. Fourth Ave. in Yakima, according to a news release.
The free five-hour seminar informs and supports those whose loved ones have mental health conditions. Participants learn about diagnoses, treatment, recovery communication strategies, crisis preparation and NAMI resources. Lunch is provided.
