Free HIV testing and a candlelight procession along Yakima Avenue in downtown Thursday will highlight a local event recognizing World AIDS Day.

Free tacos and help applying for heath coverage also will be offered at the event that kicks off at 4 p.m at St. Michael's Episcopal Mission at 5 S. Naches Ave.
