YAKIMA, Wash. -- Local marijuana business owner Liz Hallock has announced her intention to run as a Democrat against two-term state Rep. Gina McCabe, R-Goldendale.

She plans to run on open government, women's healthcare, internet data privacy, affordable housing and "sensible gun policy for responsible adult gun owners," according to a campaign news release.

Noah Ramirez, 19, of Yakima, declared his intent earlier this month to also run for McCabe's seat.

The 14th Legislative District includes Klickitat and Skamania counties, as well as parts of Yakima and Clark counties.
