YAKIMA, Wash. -- A Fruitvale Boulevard bakery was robbed at knifepoint Tuesday afternoon, Yakima police report.

A man entered the Panaderia Delicias, 1705 Fruitvale Boulevard, around 2 p.m., displayed a knife and demanded money, according to a Yakima police news release. The robber, described as being in his 20s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, and wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt with a gray stripe and blue jeans, ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash, the release said.

Police searched the area for the suspect, but did not turn up anyone, the release said.
