Moore majored in political science at the University of Montana before working in development and fundraising at the Kadlec Hospital Foundation. But it was at Heartlinks where she found herself right at home. "It was a perfect fit for me," she said, "a real leap forward in my career." She has served as a board member at the nonprofit Women Helping Women, and has been a member of Prosser Rotary and Yakima's ombudsman advisory council. Moore said she is inspired by friends, family, and other people around her: "Lots of young women have inspired me, especially the young women nonprofit leaders here in Yakima. They're incredibly motivating and exciting for me to follow along with."
