Solis, 34, is the citizenship program manager at La Casa Hogar. She began coordinating the program in 2015 when it had naturalized a few hundred people; four years later, under her direction, the program has naturalized nearly 1,100 people. A graduate of Heritage University in Toppenish with a bachelor's degree in education, Solis also wrote the curriculum that the program uses in English and Spanish. She previously worked as a medical interpreter and has a strong passion for her community. She volunteers with numerous organizations and community efforts and is a role model to her peers and colleagues.
