Yakima Area Arboretum

Ryan Martinez practices his Dandayamana Janushirasana, standing single leg pose, at the Yakima Area Arboretum in Yakima, Wash. on Wednesday, May 9, 2018.

Enjoy 46 acres of gardens, tree collections and natural areas at the Yakima Area Arboretum. The site is great destination for a sunny-day stroll, a gardening class or a wedding. A feeding station is maintained for birds during the winter season, and with a good pair of binoculars, the arboretum serves as a quiet spot for bird watching. Classes and nature day camps are also held at the site, for more organized activities.
