Two Central Washington Agricultural Museum lumberjacks saw a log lit with Christmas lights during the 19th Annual Christmas Lighted Parade on Yakima Avenue in downtown Yakima, Wash. on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018.

Yakima Valley downtowns come alive in December, when many cities hold lighted Christmas parades. Last year's parade in Yakima, from the Salvation Army to Millennium Plaza, featured semitrucks blazing with thousands of lights, live Nativity scenes and more. Sunnyside hosts an annual Sunnyside Lighted Farm Implement parade with tractors and antique farm equipment to celebrate the area's agricultural history. Selah, Toppenish, Granger and Union Gap also host parades.
