Downtown Yakima is host to a variety of cultural activities. Start with a night of local theater at the Capitol Theater in the center of town, or enjoy musical performances by local and visiting artists at The Seasons. Stroll through downtown during daytime to enjoy the Art Deco design of the 11-story 1931 A.E. Larson Building - the first building in Yakima of its height. At night, catch the Larson light show. Nearby is historic Front Street, host to wineries and coffee shops, including Yakima's beautiful railway station.
