A baby brontosaurus was the first concrete dinosaur to grace "Dinosaur Town" in Granger in the 1990s. The count now has grown to 30 concrete dinosaurs in all, according to Roadside America. The collection includes well-known favorites such as a velociraptor, a plesiosaurus and a stegosaurus, as well as some dinos with harder-to-pronounce names - including a styracosaurus.
The park also features a pond stocked for fishing, a short walking path, barbecue areas and public restrooms shaped like a volcano. Dinosaurs are located throughout the city, but the park is at 505 Main St. in Granger. Admission is free. Call 509-854-7304 for more information.
