VOLUNTEER MEMBERS BEING SOUGHT FOR THE YAKIMA COUNTY VETERANS ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The Yakima County Veterans Advisory Committee is a Commissioner Appointed Committee. The current Board consists of eleven volunteers who serve 3-year terms. Qualifications required: Must be a Veteran who has served honorably. Provide recommendations to the Board of Yakima County Commissioner on services needed for local, indigent Veterans through the Veterans Relief Fund as well as other services to better serve our Veterans in Yakima County. Provide guidance on programs to ensure all Veterans and their families have the information and access they need to Federal, State, and Local services offered to them. Applications for these positions will be accepted until Monday, July 8, 2019, by 4 p.m. in the Board of Yakima County Commissioners Office (Room 232).
