NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE
The City of Yakima intends to establish a sole source contract with Rogers Machinery Company, Inc., 16615 E Euclid Ave, Spokane, WA 99216, to provide: The Wastewater Treatment Plant intends to sole source the replacement of a 1990’s Rogers 40hp air compressor, that functions as a secondary compressed air unit, with a new Rogers air compressor. Sole Source is due to standarization with other units in operation and is to include parts inventory and support. (Unit provides required compressed air redundancy for critical biosolids handling equipment and biological process equipment.) Firms who believe they can compete for this requirement are required to email a brief statement of their intent to compete and/or any related questions to Maria Mayhue, Purchasing Manager at: maria.mayhue@yakimawa.gov by December 17, 2021 at 5:00 pm. The City of Yakima does not guarantee that firms responding to this notice will be rendered a request to tender an offer for this procurement. In addition, the City of Yakima does not guarantee that any solicitation will occur for this procurement, but reserves the right to solicit proposals. Firms who have not already done so, should register as a vendor at: www.publicpurchase.com.
