Sealed bids will be received by the Housing Authority of Sunnyside Washington located at 204 S 13th Street, Sunnyside, WA 98944, until 2:00 P.M. on March 25th, 2021, for the general contract for the renovation of the Foothills Apartments in Mabton, WA.

The bids will thereafter be officially opened and read aloud at 2:30 P.M. on March 25th, 2021 by virtual meeting. Meeting link will be provided by addendum.

Pre-Bid Walkthrough: The Site and Exterior of the building maybe walked at anytime during daylight hours. A pre-bid walkthrough of units 407 and 409 Rose Street and 615 and 617 Main street will be held on March 4th, 2021 at 1:00 P.M.

Note: To ensure notification of all addenda and to assist in the bid process, all bidders shall register as a plan holder at the ZBA Architecture Plan Room (https://www.zba-architectureplanroom.com). Follow links to the project and instructions for being placed on the plan holder list. Please direct any technical questions about the plan room by email to: planroom@abadanplancenter.com.

Bid security: A certified or bank cashier’s check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, payable to the Sunnyside Housing Authority, or bid bond executed by a licensed bonding company is required with each bid.

Rejection of Bids: The Housing Authority of Sunnyside Washington shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding document; submitted by an unqualified bidder; or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular.

Wage Rates: All work performed on this project shall be subject to Washington State Prevailing Wage Rates for Public Works Contracts (Residential.)

Apprenticeship Participation: Contractors and Subcontractors shall comply with State of Washington Apprenticeship Participation requirements as specified on the instruction sheet and participation sheet included in the Project Manual.

MWBE: Subcontractors certified as MWBE are encouraged to submit proposals for this project and all Contractors will be encouraged to do business with these enterprises as applicable to their scope of work.
