Submittal of Sealed Bids:

Notice is given that the City of Roslyn, Washington will receive sealed bids for the Roslyn City Hall, Library and Community Center Renovation – Phase 2B through April 8, 2021 no later than 2:00 PM at the Roslyn City Hall, 201 South First Street or by US Mail at PO Box 451, Roslyn, WA 98941. The Subcontractor list must be submitted with the bid package by the deadline listed above. Bids received after the 2:00 PM will not be considered.

Bid Opening:

Upon receipt, all bids will thereafter be opened on April 8, 2021 at 2:01 and publicly read in the City of Roslyn City Council Chambers at 201 South First Street, Roslyn, WA 98941, unless otherwise posted.

Description of Project: The project scope includes partial exterior restoration, exterior painting, restoration of existing windows, partial interior reconfiguration, ADA bathroom, associated mechanical and electrical work, fire-sprinkler system, and site hardscape.

All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified or cashier’s check or surety bond payable to the City of Roslyn for a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount total of such bid including sales tax and all such additives and alternates.

A pre-bid walkthrough shall be held on March 4, 2021 at 11:00 am in the Roslyn City Hall Council Chambers. All bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Attendees shall be required to comply with all local, state, and federal requirements for the use of facemasks, social distancing, and sanitation.

Bid Documents:

Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to and clicking on “Posted Projects”, “Public Works”, and “City of Roslyn”. This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders “Register” in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the “Self-Registered Bidders List”. Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project. The City of Roslyn reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bid or in the bidding process, and make the award as deemed to be in the best interest of the City
