Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Yakima Utility Services locked drop box, 129 North 2nd Street, Yakima WA 98901, up to 2:00 P.M.; local time on Monday, November 23, 2020, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the Wastewater Pump Station Upgrades. City of Yakima, City Hall, is currently closed to the public due the COVID-19 pandemic and the Governor’s order against public gatherings. Bidders may view the bid opening remotely:

The Wastewater Pump Station Upgrades project replaces the existing flow meter in the drywell, replaces the level sensors in the wetwell, replaces the existing air compressors, replaces the existing motor control center, telemetry panel, and associated variable frequency drives, and replaces the existing lighting panel.

The Work shall be physically complete within 100 working days after the commencement date stated in the mutually agreed upon Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project as prepared by RH2 Engineering, Inc. and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Engineer, City Hall, Yakima, Washington.

Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Contract Provisions.

Due to the City being currently closed to the public, Contract Provisions and Contract Plans may be examined and purchased on for $15.00, nonrefundable, under project #7385974. Addenda will be published only through the online bidding service. Bidders that do not purchase a bid set will not automatically be notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda.

The City of Yakima in accordance with title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2004-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, herby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for an award.

Financing of the Project has been provided solely by the City of Yakima. The City of Yakima expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to Award the Project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it best serves the interests of the City.



The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and proposals.
