On July 21st, 2018, we were married at 5 p.m. in the evening at Fontaine Estates in Naches, Washington. We could not have asked for a better day. Everything turned out perfectly and even the weather cooperated — with a beautiful sunny 85-degree day. Our flowers were done by Lori at Blooming Elegance, and were absolutely beautiful. The food was made by Cascade Catering and could not have tasted better. All of our guests raved about it. We had local beer, wine, and cider flowing all night, served by Bar Tab bartenders. Our photos and music were done by Campagna Creative, a husband and wife duo who were willing to drive over the mountains from the west side at no extra charge to help make our day perfect.
We had a total of 10 friends and family in our bridal party, plus two flower girls who are nieces of the bride. Our yellow lab, Tucker, was the ring bearer and was escorted by the groom’s cousin. The bridesmaids wore dresses from David’s Bridal, and the groomsmen wore suits from Men’s Wearhouse. I wore a wedding gown from I Do Bridal and walked down the aisle to “Marry Me” by Train, escorted by my father.
We went the traditional route and had a three-tiered wedding cake done by Cristian at Taste & See Deli. We toasted with Celebration sparkling wine from Treveri during the toasts by the father of the bride, the best man, the matron of honor and the maid of honor. After dancing the night away with our guests, we made our exit with a sparkler send-off, and flew out later that week for a honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
We met three years ago here in Yakima at the Fresh Hop Ale Festival, now a yearly tradition. I’m best friends with the groom’s sister, and met the man who would become my husband for the first time that day, even though we were not intentionally set up. We hit it off from the very beginning, and quickly became a couple — after getting the approval from the sister of course! We got engaged April 6, 2017 on vacation in Palm Springs, California, and are currently living in Yakima, my home town.
