I managed to eat at Sweet Beez once since moving to the Valley two years ago: It was, of course, for an On the Menu. It was delicious, and my husband and I tried to go to the small shack-style eatery several other times, but we couldn’t get in. It was always too packed.

But no more: Sweet Beez relocated last fall from 130 E. Naches Ave. in Selah all the way across the street to 204 E. Naches Ave., former home of the Selah Mining Co.

The move easily triples (if not more) space for the restaurant, and while the parking lot is still packed to reflect its popularity, diners are no longer stacked on top of each other waiting to get their order of hashbrown supreme.

Breakfast is still the star — it’s served all day — but the lunch menu also has plenty to offer of the salads, sandwiches and burgers variety. On a recent trip, I got a French Dip Supreme, which was served toasty with melted cheese, onions and mushrooms piled on top of the roast beef and a steaming cup of au jus. It was quite possibly the best French dip sandwich I have ever had. For a side, I got a salad that was big enough to have been a meal itself.

While the restaurant is currently open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. seven days a week, our waitress hinted that a dinner menu may be in the works.

Which complicates things so much for me: Now that I can get in there to eat whenever I want, how will I ever decide between breakfast, lunch and dinner?
