Holy Family Parish is offering a six-week series called “Catholics Returning Home” beginning at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Classes will be held in the Bride’s Room across from the gift shop at Holy Family, 5315 Tieton Drive, Yakima.
The series is for people who would like to know more about the church today, who may have been raised Catholic but who don’t or seldom attend church services, or who feel separated from the church.
The first session will be a welcome and overview, followed by “Stories of Faith from Returning Catholics” on Jan. 13; “The Church Today: Changes since Vatican II” on Jan. 20; “A Walk Through the Mass” on Jan. 27; “Sacrament of Penance/Reconciliation” on Feb. 3; and “The Creed: What Catholics Believe” on Feb. 10.
