When Guilty Pleasures was young and sweet -- only, well, actually 18 -- a college dormmate was absolutely obsessed with ABBA.

She listened to ABBA's "Gold" nonstop, especially in her car, which happened to be an Isuzu Trooper, which, of course, called for repeated plays of "Super Trouper."

Up until then, Guilty Pleasures -- all piercings, pink hair and angsty -- had never really been exposed to the wonders of this über-popular Swedish dance group, but their infectious pop has a way of growing on you.

In fact, it takes over your brain. It makes you grab any microphone-esque object and dance around the room singing "Take a Chance on Me."

And with all the hype over today's nationwide release of "Mamma Mia!" -- the big-screen version of the Broadway jukebox musical featuring Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson's hits -- let's just say, here we go again.

My, my.

How can we resist the ABBA attraction?

Well, we shouldn't.

So crank up the Sirius Satellite Radio 24/7 ABBA channel -- yes, there is one -- and embrace your inner dancing queen. Although, if you dance anything like Guilty Pleasures, you may want to restrict your moves to the privacy of your own house.
