Thaxton - Sharp-Cline
Joleen Patrice Sharp-Cline and David John Thaxton were married Dec. 29, 2007, at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Va. A reception followed at Liberty University School of Law.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Suzanne Cline of Laurel, Md. The bridegroom is the son of Eric and Cathy Thaxton of Yakima.
Cortney Sharp-Cline was maid of honor and Stephen Thaxton was best man. Other members of the wedding party included Laura Volkmar, Tara Yochelson, Lacy Spence, Heather McCuller, Andrea Volkmar, Gage Randall, Jeff Thaxton, Casey Thaxton, Russell Roberts, Evan Brestar, Kyle Bisconer, Tony Cline, Justin Cline and Donovan Cline.
The bride and bridegroom are attending Liberty University. The bride is an administrative assistant for Liberty University School of Law. The bridegroom owns and operates a lawn service.
Following a trip to Williamsburg, Va., the couple is at home in Lynchburg.
Boyd-Traxinger
Jill M. Traxinger and Scott Boyd were married March 20 at Waialae Beach Park in Hawaii. A reception will be held in June.
The bride is the daughter of Sherman and Linda Traxinger of Selah. The bridegroom is the son of George and Louis Boyd of Selah.
Sharell Sinclair was maid of honor and Steve Sinclair was best man.
The bride graduated from Selah High School and Yakima Valley Community College. She is employed at Yakima Valley Credit Union. The bridegroom graduated from Selah High School and attended YVCC. He is employed with the city of Selah.
After honeymooning in Hawaii, the couple is at home in Selah.
Rasmussen-Tanneberg
Colby Marie Tanneberg and John Richard Rasmussen were married Sept. 22, 2007, at Amy's Manor in Pateros, Wash. A reception followed.
The bride is the daughter of Doug and Michele Tanneberg of Mansfield, Wash. The bridegroom is the son of John and Karen Rasmussen of Yakima.
Sheianne Black was maid of honor and Peter Rasmussen was best man. Other members of the wedding party included Bridget Poole, Kellie Troop, Kirsten Wicklund, Katie Rasmussen, Bryan Boyer, Ryan Orozco, Beto Pineda and Kelsey Tanneberg.
The bride graduated from Mansfield High School and earned her bachelor's degree in social service from Washington State University. She is employed at Montessori School in Yakima. The bridegroom graduated from Eisenhower High School and earned a bachelor's degree in biology from WSU. He is a physics and biology teacher at Eisenhower High School.
Following a trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple is at home in Yakima with plans to move to Davenport, Iowa, in July.
Johnston-Loofburrow
Lindsay Kay Loofburrow and Andrew Garret Johnston were married Aug. 18, 2007, at the First Presbyterian Church. A reception followed at the Yakima Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Barb and John Butts, and Dick and Pam Loofburrow, all of Yakima. The bridegroom is the son of Phil and Janet Johnston of Wapato.
Randi Rogers was maid of honor and Jake Canter was best man.
The bride earned her bachelor of arts degree from Washington State University. She is an assistant buyer for Family Dollar Stores Inc. The bridegroom earned his bachelor of arts degree from WSU. He is a sales coordinator at 84 Lumbers.
Following a trip to Aruba in the Caribbean, the couple is at home in Concord, N.C.
