ELLENSBURG -- Central Washington completed its unbeaten run through the CWU Invitational volleyball tournament Saturday night with a 3-0 defeat of Hawaii Pacific in Nicholson Pavilion.
The Wildcats, who went 4-0 in the event to improve their season record to 7-1, won 25-16, 25-23, 26-24.
Erin Norris, named the tournament's most valuable player, had nine kills, three aces and a block while Rachael Schurman totaled 11 kills, Kayla Roof 10 kills and 13 digs and Maggie Olson 36 assists and eight digs.
Julia Gruszecka had 10 kills to lead Hawaii Pacific (1-7).
Olson and Brandie Vea joined Norris on the all-tournament team.
Central Washington highlights: Rachael Schurman 11 kills; Kayla Roof 10 kills, 13 digs; Erin Norris 9 kills, 3 aces; Maggie Olson 36 assists, 8 digs.
