Reynolds -- 50 Years

Earl and Karen Reynolds of Selah will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary May 17 with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 91 Wernex Loop in Selah. The event will be hosted by their children.

Earl Reynolds and Karen Kemper were married May 17, 1958, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Yakima. They have lived in Selah the last 34 years.

The couple had three children, Vicki Berg of Covington, Wash., the late Richard Reynolds and Bill Reynolds of Kirkland, Wash. They also have five grandchildren.

 

Kilpatrick -- 35 Years

Don and Kay Kilpatrick of Naches will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary on May 12. They plan to celebrate during their annual trip to Seaside, Ore.

Don Kilpatrick and Kay VanWechel were married May 12, 1973, at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Yakima.

Mr. Kilpatrick retired from Rowe Farms and Mrs. Kilpatrick is employed with Keith and Keith Funeral Home. They are active members of the Naches community.

The couple has one son, Lincoln Kilpatrick of Yakima.

 

McNulty -- 30 Years

Dan and Kathy McNulty of Terrace Heights celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary May 6 with a trip to Leavenworth, Wash.

Dan McNulty and Kathy Granberg were married May 6, 1978, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Sunnyside. They have lived in the area 35 years.

Mr. McNulty retired as a Hanford patrolman and is a fire commissioner for the East Valley Fire Department. Mrs. McNulty is a case manager for Yakima County Aging and Long Term Care.

The couple has three children, Shannon Southards of Moxee, Nicole McNulty of Yakima and Danielle McNulty of Terrace Heights. They also have one granddaughter.

 

Cardenas -- 30 Years

Refugio Jr. and Debbie Cardenas of Granger celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary April 15 during a dinner with family and friends. They also plan a trip to the San Juan Islands this spring.

Refugio Cardenas Jr. and Debbie Nicacio were married April 15, 1978, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Granger. They are lifelong area residents.

Mr. Cardenas is a maintenance worker for the Granger School District. Mrs. Cardenas is a second-grade teacher at Roosevelt Elementary School in Granger.

The couple has two children, Crystal Ann Cardenas of Pasco and Michael Cardenas of Cheney, Wash.

 

Pottenger -- 25 Years

Rob and Kim Pottenger of Terrace Heights will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary with a trip in June.

Rob Pottenger and Kim Vaughn were married May 7, 1983, at Terrace Heights Baptist Church. They are lifelong area residents.

Mr. Pottenger is a general manager for B& C Sewing & Vacuum Center. Mrs. Pottenger owns and operates Renewal Ultimate Day Spa.

The couple has two children, Ashlee Pottenger of Seattle and Bobbylee Pottenger of Yakima.

 

Mitch -- 25 Years

Greg and Lori Mitch of Yakima will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in June with a family dinner.

Greg Mitch and Lori Schmidt were married May 14, 1983, in Vancouver, Wash. They have lived in the area 14 years.

The couple has five children, Kate Mitch of Monterey, Calif., Jennifer Mitch and Rebecca "Becca" Mitch, both of Seattle, and Emily Mitch and Madeline Mitch, both of Yakima.
