Drink all day, then dance all night. Or at least move and groove in your seat.
Timed to coincide with Spring Barrel Tasting weekend is The Seasons Spring Music Celebration at the downtown performance hall.
Tonight's concert features a return visit by jazz trombonist Delfeayo Marsalis, the fourth son of the first family of jazz.
Marsalis -- son of jazz pianist Ellis, younger brother of saxophonist Branford and trumpeter Wynton -- was primarily known for his Grammy-winning producing talents until his swinging, self-assured 2006 album, "Minions Dominion," earned him critical acclaim for his trombone playing talents.
Then on Saturday is jazz pianist and arranger Alan Broadbent, whose lengthy career includes work as a sideman for the likes of Woody Herman, Chet Baker, Natalie Cole, Bud Shank and Bill Mays, among many others.
Both concerts begin at 7:30 at The Seasons, 101 N. Naches Ave.
The Spring Music Celebration continues May 2 with Fiesta en Mayo, a benefit dinner and concert for the Yakima-Morelia Sister City Association. The concert features beautiful Mexican folk music from Bola Suriana. The festival wraps up May 3 with blues singer Terry Evans (whose voice you'll recognize from his work with Ry Cooder).
