ZILLAH, Wash. — Police are investigating a rash of car prowls in the east end of town that caused about $5,000 in stolen items and damage.
Seventeen car burglaries occurred sometime between midnight and 6 a.m. Monday morning along Sunset and Kagely ways, Concord and Sharon drives, Second Avenue and North Eight Street. Stereos, purses and other personal items were taken from vehicles in those areas, police said.
