GRANDVIEW — A 19-year-old Sunnyside man was injured Monday night when he lost control of his motorcycle on a ramp to Interstate 82 near Grandview.
The Washington State Patrol said Adam Charles Nading was taken to Prosser Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
A patrol accident memorandum said Nading was entering the freeway at exit 73 when excessive speed caused him to drive off the road surface.
The 1981 Suzuki motorcycle sustained $700 damage. Nading was wearing a helmet.
Drugs and alcohol were not factors in the accident, troopers said.
This is Adam's sister Tera. He did not wreck due to excessive speed. There was something in the road and he tried to go around. That is when his tires of the motorcycle hit gravel and he lost control. Just thought everyone should know the TRUTH!
