Clarence Jensen

Clarence Keith Jensen, 83, of Bickleton died Thursday.

Mr. Jensen served in the Army with the 14th Infantry in the European Theater during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Vera Jensen of Bickleton; two sons, Larry and John Jensen of Bickleton; four daughters, Gabrielle Kramer of Las Vegas, Irene Schmidt of Sequim, Wash., Sally Luiten of Medical Lake, Wash., and Sue Key of Yakima; a brother, William Jensen of Boise, Idaho; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be 1 to 4 p.m. Friday at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside. A celebration of Mr. Jensen's life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bickleton Presbyterian Church. Interment will take place at the Bickleton IOOF Cemetery after the service.

 

Joseph Reilander

Joseph F. Reilander, 92, of Yakima died Friday.

Mr. Reilander was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II, moved to Yakima in 1951 and worked in the cabinet shop at United Builders until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian Reilander of Yakima; a daughter, Gail Feagins of Dupont, Wash.; and a sister, Marie Fenwick of Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.

A memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
