Yakima’s Chloe Goyette won the girls 16 singles title at the Yakima Fall Championships on Sunday at the Yakima Tennis Club.

Goyette also paired with Selah’s McKenzie Kieser to finish second in the girls 18 doubles.

Connor Garnett of Bellevue won the boys 18 singles, while Bess Waldram of Portland won the girls 18 singles.

Other locals winning championships on Sunday were Nolan Yee of Yakima, who defeated Caden Rubright, also of Yakima, for the boys 10 singles title; and Alisha Shetty who won an all-Yakima battle with Hannah Welt in the girls 10 singles division.
