YAKIMA, Wash. -- He’s back.

Kevin Davis, a 6-foot-9 center who was one of Central Washington’s best players last season as a sophomore, appeared late Wednesday on the Wildcats roster which is posted on the university’s athletic website.

Davis had not been on CWU’s roster this season, and accordingly hadn’t played. Coach Greg Sparling, who declined comment Wednesday night, had said prior to the season that he had chosen to not bring Davis back.

Last season Davis averaged 11.9 points and 7.3 rebounds a game and led CWU with 62 blocked shots.

The Wildcats, 3-3 in the GNAC and 9-5 overall, host Montana State Billings tonight and Seattle Pacific on Saturday night. Both games are scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
