ELLENSBURG — Junior Mark McLaughlin led five Wildcats in double figures with 19 points as Central Washington defeated Walla Walla College 92-74 in its home opener Monday night at Nicholson Pavilion.

The victory was the fourth straight for the Wildcats (4-1).

Jordan Coby had 16 points, and Brandon Magee, Chris Holmes and Dom Williams each added 10 points for Central Washington. Magee finished with a double-double as he hauled in 11 rebounds. Nate Walker added 10 rebounds for the Wildcats.

Tristan Greenidge led the WOlves with 25 points and Miguel Martinez had a double-double, finishing with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Central Washington visit Saint Martin’s at 7 p.m. Thursday.
