ELLENSBURG — The Central Washington volleyball team has been selected to play in the NCAA Division II tournament for the first time since 2006.

The Wildcats, who tied for second in the GNAC with a 14-4 league record, will be joined in the tournament by rivals Western Washington.

CWU is seeded sixth in the West Region and will open against Cal State San Bernardino on Nov. 29 in Laie, Hawaii.

No. 4 Western Washington will face Sonoma State in its tourney opener.
