YAKIMA, Wash. -- Sammi Jo Blodgett led all scorers with 19 points as Yakima Valley defeated Centralia 65-50 in the championship game of the Yakima Valley Tip-Off Tournament at Sherar Gym.

Kaylah Gonzales and Jaimi Cox added 12 and 11 points, respectfully, for the Yaks. Cox also led the team with eight rebounds.

Kristen Schoenherr led the Lady Blazers with 12 points and former Granger standout Italia Mengarelli added 10.

In the early games, Whatcom defeated Lower Columbia 76-72 and Walla Walla beat Treasure Valley 68-49.
