SUNNYSIDE, Wash. — Two Sunnyside High School seniors will hold paintball games Saturday to raise money for a classmate.
Enrique Cervantes and his cousin, Juan Hernandez, have built an Airsoft and paintball course and are recruiting players as the culmination of their senior project and as a way to help their friend, Megan Casseday, pay for a People for People trip to Europe, said teacher Bev Beierle.
The games run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Redbo Farm, 1990 Sunnyside-Mabton Road, south of town.
Cost is $15 per player for all day for those who have their own gear. The boys will have some equipment for rent.
The games are open to all ages but those 17 and younger must have a parent’s or guardian’s signature.
Participants may register Saturday at the event.
